Firefighters tackled a barn and vehicle blaze in Appleby.
Appleby Fire Station was called out in the early hours on Friday to the fire, which was local to the station.
Crews brought the fire under control quickly using hose reels and breathing apparatus from Penrith Fire Station.
Kirkby Stephen appliances were made up for water due to the rural location of the fire.
