
A Kendal alley that has become a hotspot for anti-social behaviour and illegal activity is being targeted by police.
South Lakes Police said officers were aware of what was happening in New Shambles – from drug use to urinating.
It added: “Officers are actively patrolling the area.
“Anyone engaging in illegal or anti-social behaviour will be identified and dealt with appropriately.”
People are urged to report anti-social behaviour by calling 101.
