Carlisle City continued their excellent run last night with a fine 3-1 win at promotion-chasing West Auckland.
It was a third win in a row for Dan Kirkup’s men and moved City up to seventh in the table just four points behind West Auckland who are in the final play-off place.
City had made a great start and were 2-0 ahead inside 21 minutes with a double strike from Kelvin James.
Alfie Steel pulled one back before half-time for the home side to stay in the contest.
