
A pedestrian has been seriously injured in a South Cumbrian collision.
The incident took place in Ulverston on Wednesday at around 7.35pm and involved the pedestrian and a grey VW Golf.
It happened on the A590 near the Coronation Hall.
The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, received serious injuries and was taken to hospital where his condition is described as serious.
The road was closed for a number of hours whilst a forensic collision investigation was carried out.
Cumbria police said enquiries were ongoing.
