A West Cumbrian road is closed due to drainage issues.
Water is spilling on to the U4033 Rottington to St Bees road and freezing.
Cumberland Council said the road had been closed for safety.
Repair work is scheduled to begin week commencing January 5, it added.
Drivers are urged to use alternative routes where possible.
