A man has been killed in a West Cumbrian collision.
The incident, on the A596 yesterday, December 31, involved a Chevrolet car and a pedestrian at around 10.05pm.
It happened at Crosby, near Maryport, in the vicinity of the Stag Inn.
The pedestrian – a man in his 60s who lived locally – was declared dead at the scene.
Police are encouraging anyone who witnessed the incident or who can assist the investigation in any way to come forward.
