A man is due to appear in court in connection with an incident in Carlisle on Sunday.
Cumbria police said they had charged the man following the incident on the city’s Prescott Road.
A pedestrian was injured in the incident, which involved a van.
Ricky Murphy, 29, of Ferguson Place, Carlisle, has been charged with GBH with intent and causing injury by dangerous driving.
He is due to appear before Carlisle Magistrates Court tomorrow, Wednesday, January 7.
