A Cumbrian police station was evacuated this morning after a report of a chemical leak.
Kendal Police Station was evacuated as a precaution following the report at 10.45am yesterday, Friday January 9.
Cumbria police said the leak was suspected to be coming from a vehicle parked in a garage at the station.
A spokesman added: “We worked with other emergency services to safely resolve the situation.”
There was no risk to the public, the force added.
The incident was resolved at around 1pm and the vehicle was due to be taken to a garage to be repaired, Cumbria Constabulary said.
