A model railway show will take place in Kendal later this month.
Now in its 62nd year, the event is organised by Kendal Model Railway Club and will take place in the town’s leisure centre on January 24 and January 25.
It will feature 12 layouts and displays from around the country and will be the debut of Kendal club’s new layout, Dalehead, depicting the Yorkshire Dales in the 1930s.
There will also be layout based on the Cumbrian station of Alston, plus demonstrators showing how to make the items for a model railway.
Traders will also be on hand for people to pick up everything they need to make a model railway.

It will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, January 24 and 10am to 4pm on Sunday January 25.
Main sponsor of the show is Gilbert Gilkes & Gordon Ltd.
