
A woman was bitten on the hand by a dog in Workington.
The incident happened on Wednesday January 7 between around 11.40am and 12pm on Salterbeck Road.
The woman had been walking near the cemetery when two large Rottweiler dogs ran towards her.
One of the dogs bit the woman through her glove, causing three puncture wounds that required medical attention.
The owner of the dogs was described as a woman and she was wearing a woolly hat and a green/grey coloured long puffer jacket.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time that may have witnessed the incident or would be able to identify the owner.
