
Emergency services were called to an incident overnight in South Cumbria that saw a vehicle leave the road and roll for several metres.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service, Cumbria police, the North West Ambulance Service and the Great North Air Ambulance Critical Care Team were called to the A591 at Bannerigg.
South Lakes Police said: “The vehicle had left the road, rolled and then came to a stop several metres away.
“Casualty extraction was required however the single occupant of the vehicle is not believed to have suffered life-threatening or life changing injuries.”
South Lakes Police said the driver was arrested after they failed to provide a breath specimen.
