Kendal Town produced another fine away performance when they beat play-off rivals Boro Rangers 2-1 to consolidate third place.
A late header from Bailey Kenny was enough to clinch the points after the home side had pulled themselves level.
DJ Taylor, their recent recruit from Penrith had put them ahead on 35 minutes and it was a thoroughly deserved lead at the break.
The Mintcakes weren’t as good in the second-half but they managed to hold their lead until the 76th minute when Harry Thompson levelled for Boro.
It looked as though it was going to finish all square when Kenny popped up with a well-placed header to grab the points.

Penrith were also 2-1 winners in their home game against Horden, a welcome three points after a sequence of postponements.
It was a deserved victory, and one which manager Jim Nichols thought his side would not have seen out earlier in the season when they conceded so many late goals.
Connor Shields had given them the lead with a 40th minute penalty and Luke Brown doubled the advantage after 63 minutes.
Ben Mason scored for Horden eight minutes from time to create some nerves for the Bonny Blues but they saw it through well to collect the points.
