Eat Street Cumbria will return for 2026.

The event made its debut in Whitehaven on November 16 2024, followed by an event in the town in May and one in St Bees in July.

Aaron Groggins had a dream of bringing together the area’s favourite eateries in a vibrant lively courtyard, in a celebration of food, flavour and socialising in Cumbria.

He said: “There has been such a huge demand for the returns of Eat Street Cumbria that we have expanded. This is something we want and something our local businesses need!

“Cumbria has so much to offer in terms of food and culture. Eat Street Cumbria is about showcasing that potential, supporting our local businesses, and creating a hub where people can come together to enjoy great food, music, and company.

“We’re not just building a market; we’re building a community. I’m driven by a love for this region and its potential. I believe that when we lift each other up, incredible things can happen.”

Eat Street Cumbria events will take place from May 1 to May 3 in Whitehaven opposite the Wetherspoon pub and from May 23 to May 24 at the events space in Maryport.

Aaron said more dates would be released shortly.

The events are sponsored by BEC, Design Grid and Bendalls.
