Anti-social behaviour in a West Cumbrian town saw police issue a dispersal order last night.
Copeland police said following reports of the anti-social behaviour by youths in Whitehaven town centre, the order was issued until 6.37am today, Wednesday February 18.
A dispersal order gives officers extra powers to break up groups of more than two people when they believe their behaviour is causing a nuisance, harassment or distress.
Copeland police said last night: “We would ask parents to question where their children are and make arrangements for them to return home before formal steps are taken.”
