
Police are investigating an assault of an 11-year-old girl in Dalton-in-Furness.
On Tuesday February 3, between 3.25pm and 3.30pm, the girl was walking home from school.
She walked down Market Street to Barrow Road, crossing over by Chequers.
Her school rucksack, on her back, was grabbed. It caused her right arm to be bent backwards and the victim to fall, causing an injury to her shoulder.
The suspect was described as teenage, white, wearing a school uniform and carrying a black Nike bag on his back.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this or who has information regarding this incident to come forward.
