Whitehaven suffered a heavy defeat at Keighley as they continue to search for a first Championship win of the season.
They eventually went down 56-14 after conceding 28 points in each half to stay bottom of the table after four games.
Cougars had made a flying start and had raced into a 22-0 lead with tries from Izaac Farrell, Brad Holroyd, Connor Sayner and Oliver Whitford, three of them converted by Matty Beharrell.
Whitehaven seemed to be getting back into the game with two quick tries from Dave Eccleston and Jay Weatherill, but both went unconverted.
It was the Cougars who finished the half strongly and George Flanagan went in for the fifth try, converted by Beharrell.
The second-half saw Keighley pull well clear with further from Farrell, George Hill, Jordan Schofield, Lucas Green and Alfie Dean, four converted by Beharrell.
Whitehaven did have the last word when Jack Kellett scored their third try and this time Connor Holliday landed the conversion.
