Seven people have been arrested in connection with a series of quad bike thefts in Cumbria.
Cumbria police’s rural crime team said the men have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary.
They have been released on bail with conditions while investigations continue, officers added.
The arrests relate to a burglary series in February last year in Allerdale and Eden, and a burglary series across Allerdale and Copeland last month.
The team said five quad bikes stolen last month had been recovered, plus a dumper and an ATV buggy.
Four properties in West Cumbria have been targeted so far this year.
