Barrow Raiders look to get back to winning ways when they visit Dewsbury on Sunday in the day’s earlier kick-off at 2pm.

They last played two weeks ago when they lost 22-6 at Sheffield Eagles which was their first Championship defeat of the season.

But coach Paul Crarey has had an extra week to prepare for the game as they lost their fixture last week because of the demise of Halifax Panthers.

The renewal of their licence came too late for the fixture to survive.

Halifax will now resume their Championship fixtures bottom of the table, currently on minus ten points.

Max Anderson-Moore, Ryan Brown, Andrew Bulman and Seth Woodend (now on loan at Whitehaven), who featured in the defeat at Sheffield Eagles, are replaced by youngsters Dan Knott and Trent Ruddy.

Outside back Shane Toal will also go into contention to make his first competitive start of the season, after recovering from an injury he picked up during his testimonial fixture.

The squad is: Archer, Bishop, Broadbent, Bullock, Costello, Cresswell, Doolan, Emslie, Johnston, King, Knott, Ritson, Robson, Ruddy, Teare, Toal, B Walker, T Walker, Watson, Wood.

Dewsbury squad: C McShane, Delaney, Jordan, Senior, Copland, Coates, Nelmes, J McShane, Everett, Summers, Mearns, Tomlinson, Parkinson, Bateson, Collinson, Roberts, Bentley, Rayner, Graham, Gill, O’Connor.
