Two people have been arrested after thousands of pounds-worth of suspected stolen goods were found in vehicles.
Carlisle police said the men were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods yesterday, Sunday March 15.
Carlisle police said: “They could not get their stories straight when chatting to the neighbourhood policing team.
“As a result, they were searched along with the vehicles and arrested.”
