Train firm TransPennine Express has confirmed that it will not be operating between Glasgow Central and Carlisle.
Glasgow Central Railway Station was closed to all trains following a major fire at a nearby building on Sunday, March 8.
However, TranPennine Express said it would not be running any services and most services running between Glasgow Central and Manchester Airport/Liverpool Lime Street will either terminate or start at Carlisle.
It said services would only resume when the station is fully open.
People can use their TransPennine Express tickets for no extra cost on Avanti West Coast services between Glasgow Central and Preston and TransPennine Express services between Edinburgh/Carlisle and Preston/Manchester Airport.
The closure of the station during last week also affected southbound services ran by TransPennine Express, with some cancelled.
