Police are asking for people’s help to combat anti-social behaviour in Kirkby Stephen.
Eden police said officers were aware of ongoing issues around the cricket club and Franks Bridge areas, plus the public toilets.
It said it was working with partners to prevent further issues, but said one of the tactics it could use was what is called natural surveillance.
It said: “This where we encourage members of the public to spend more time in the area to help deter any further anti-social behaviour.
“If you are in Kirkby Stephen and you have the time, please visit these areas and please report to Cumbria police any incidents you see, either on 999 or 101.
“Working together we can reduce the anti-social behaviour in Kirkby Stephen.”
