A Lake District road is set to close for resurfacing work.
Cumberland Council will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on the A591 at Skiddaw Service Station, Bassenthwaite, for three days next week.
The work is scheduled to take place from Wednesday April 15 to Friday April 17, subject to weather and site conditions.
A formal road closure will be in place from 7.30am to 7pm each day, with traffic management present.
Access for residents will be limited during working hours. The council said traffic marshals will be on site throughout the works and will make every effort to help residents access their properties where possible.
The council added that refuse collections will also be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
