Revised plans have been submitted for a new 117-home estate in Appleby.
Story Homes wants to create the development on land off Cross Croft.
It has updated its proposals, originally lodged in October 2023, to include more bungalows and 35 properties designated as affordable homes.
The Cumbrian developer said it was as a result of engagement with the local community, technical work and work with planning officers.
Phil Fell, senior land manager for Cumbria and Scotland at Story Homes, said: “We have updated our plans for our proposed Appleby development to better reflect local priorities.
” This revised scheme maintains 117 homes but now includes more bungalows and 35 affordable homes – an important uplift from our original submission, ensuring greater accessibility and choice for the community.
“We’ve also improved pedestrian connectivity through and around the site, making it easier for people to move safely and conveniently while enjoying the local environment. Sustainability has been a key consideration in the updates, with EV charging points and solar panels integrated into the design.”
