At least six Cumbrians were arrested in London during a Palestine Action protest.
The Metropolitan Police arrested 523 people aged between 18 and 87 during the protest in Trafalgar Square on Saturday.
The people were arrested for showing support for Palestine Action, a proscribed terrorist organisation.
Hundreds of protesters gathered in Trafalgar Square with signs saying: “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action”.
