A charity night will be held in Workington this weekend as a finale to the town’s Uppies & Downies series.
Organised by Elvin Jarvis and David Shepherd, known as Nutty, the event will be held at the Royal British Legion on Saturday, April 18.
It will raise money for Hospice at Home West Cumbria and the Henderson Suite at the West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven.
There will be entertainment from Hayden Sorenson, of Kendal, an auction, raffle with a £500 first prize and a buffet.
The pair normally hold a charity evening associated with the game, but took a break last year and were asked to do it again for 2026.
Doors open at 6.30pm.
Tickets are £5, under-16s and ball hailers free.
