The finalists for the 2026 Cumbria Tourism Awards have been revealed.
The annual awards celebrate the quality, innovation and dedication that can be found across Cumbria’s visitor economy.
Each finalist will now go through the next stage of judging, which includes detailed assessment and, in many cases, mystery shopping visits.
The winners will be announced at a VIP awards ceremony on Wednesday July 8 at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal.
Eligible winners will also go on to represent Cumbria at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2027.
Gill Haigh, managing director of Cumbria Tourism, said: “The Cumbria Tourism Awards are always a good reminder of the sheer quality and range of tourism businesses we have here in Cumbria.
“Across every category, these awards recognise the people and businesses who work incredibly hard to deliver high standards and memorable visitor experiences.
“To be named as a finalist is a real achievement, and it is important that we take the time to recognise those setting the standard across our visitor economy. We are looking forward to celebrating with them all in July.”
