Nineteen people from across the world are aiming to raise £100,000 for a Lake District charity by running 10 marathons in 10 days.
Throughout the event, runners complete a full lap of Windermere each day.
Now in its 20th year, Brathay Trust’s 10in10 is supported by University of Cumbria sports rehabilitation students and local sponsors including Pete Bland Sports, Voom Nutrition, Ronhill and Lake District Audi.
Runners start the challenge on May 1 and on May 10, they will complete their final run and finish at Brathay Trust’s Ambleside base.
Special guests on the day include Brathay Trust ambassador Olympian Fatima Whitbread MBE and Brathay Trust patron record-breaking ultra runner Jasmin Paris.
The cash raised from the challenge will help the trust’s work with young people, helping them build confidence, connection, and brighter futures.
