Drivers are warned to expect delays this morning as an abnormal load is being escorted through Cumbria.
Cumbria police said its officers would be escorting the vehicle from the M6’s Junction 44 at Carlisle to Junction 40 at Penrith.
It will then head west via the A66 and A595 to arrive at the Sellafield nuclear site in West Cumbria.
It is expected to depart at 9am.
Police said queuing traffic will be allowed past where possible, but delays were likely.
