Initial plans for 110 new homes in Barrow have been revealed.
Developer Persimmon Homes has submitted outline proposals for the estate on land south of Dalton Lane to Westmorland and Furness Council.
It said it would feature two- to four-bedroom homes and 11 would be designated as affordable.
Homes would incorporate a mix of renewable and low carbon technologies, including solar PV panels, EV charging points and heat pumps, the firm said.
The developer added it was in talks with Westmorland and Furness Council about financial contributions to accompany the plans.
New pedestrian and cycle links to Dalton Lane and Abbey Road have been included in the outline proposals.
