A major search was launched for a missing person in a Lake District forest.
Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team said it was called out to Miterdale on Tuesday at around 3.45pm by Cumbria police to help in the search.
The team deployed, including their search dog Jess to scour the dense woodland.
Drones, equipped with thermal imaging, were requested to support the search effort.
Team members and vehicles conducted further checks of forest tracks and surrounding areas.
The missing person was found safe in the forest before being supported by team members and then Cumbria police officers.
