While manager Billy Barr is fully absorbed on strengthening his squad for next season Workington Reds have been making a series of off-the-field announcements.
Included is the launch of a new online ticketing platform Fanbase as the club have made the switch aiming to streamline and modernise some of their day-to-day operations.
Vice chairman Richard Lewthwaite said: “Fanbase was the obvious choice for us. It can provide so much through it’s platform as we go through a period of change around Matchday operations.
“As well as individual match tickets that we have always offered, fans will be able to purchase season tickets online – on sale today – book hospitality or our massively popular Mascot Experiences.
“We will also be driving our new fan-backed player recruitment fundraiser through the Fanbase App, we used to call it the Budget Booster but some big changes are coming there too!”
Two new partners have become part of the club’s kit package, as well as one from last season.
Peter Tyson will be the new sleeve sponsor as well as partnering on players’ travel wear.
A long-time supporter and another established local business, Phillip Carruthers Plant Hire and Groundworks will become shorts sponsor.
Haven Tyre Centre will once again sponsor the back of the shirt.
