A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital following a serious collision in Barrow.
Police were called at around 4.55pm yesterday, Friday May 14, to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A590.
It involved a motorbike and a wagon.
An 18-year-old man – the motorcyclist – was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital via air ambulance having suffered serious injuries.
He remains in hospital today, Friday May 15.
The road was closed but reopened at around 10pm.
