The last two finals in the West Cumberland Sunday League brought the curtain down on the season.
Both were staged at the Fibrus Community Stadium and provided wins for Deer Orchard and Sun Inn.
Another penalty shoot-out success for Orchard earned them their second trophy of the season – the Tier One League Cup against Lowca Pirates.
Once again the Orchard hero was goalkeeper Max Pickering for not only making saves in the 4-3 shoot-out success but he actually scored the winning penalty.
Kyran Bertram had scored both goals for Orchard as they led 2-0 at half-time.
But keeper Pickering had to be on his game in the second half as Lowca came back strongly and he made some very smart saves.
Lowca, however, fought back with great determination and after Calum Wilson had pulled one back Harley Cueto levelled with virtually the last kick of the match.

But as he had done in the previous final to win the President’s Cup against Northside, Pickering was the hero.
No such drama in the other final for the Tier Two League Cup.
It was Sun Inn who came out on top, beating Thornhill 4-1.
Due to Bank Holiday commitments Sun were without seven players who had started the semi-final.

However they did take the lead when Louie Elliot fired them in front on 19 minutes.
But there was disaster for the Aspatria side soon after when keeper Ian Johnston suffered a broken leg as he made a tackle/clearance.
Ewan Trestianu came off the bench to take over but two minutes before half-time Kieran Robinson scored the second from a corner.

Gary Humphries pulled one back for Thornhill after 72 minutes but Elliot quickly grabbed his second, and 15th for the season, when he rifled home a penalty.
The icing on the cake came late on with the goal of the game from Robbie Woodburn.
