A Kendal IT support provider has a new owner – its founder.

iTek Computer Solutions has returned to the ownership of founder Ben Mitchinson, following a period under external ownership.

Set up in 2009, iTek was acquired by Intec Business Technology in 2019. It continued to operate under the iTek name within a different ownership structure.

As of this month, ownership has returned to Ben.

Joining him in leading the business are long-standing team members Adam Blamire and Gary Creed who have both been appointed directors.

Ben said: “This is about bringing iTek back to what it’s always been about.

“Looking after clients, building long-term relationships, and making sure businesses feel confident in their technology.”

Adam has been part of the iTek team since 2010 and plays a key role in delivering projects, supporting day-to-day operations, and ensuring client systems run smoothly.

Gary joined iTek in 2022 and works closely with clients across voice, connectivity, and account management, helping businesses get the most from their technology and communications.

iTek supports youth football at Wattsfield, where Ben coaches a successful under-13s side, and is now looking to build on this with local charity partnerships and team fundraising initiatives.
