Colin Brunt

The family of a man who died following a collision in north Cumbria have paid tribute to him.

Colin Edward Brunt, 65, of the Milnthorpe area was riding his motorcycle near Waverton, close to Wigton, on Sunday, May 24.

He was involved in an incident with a tractor and another motorbike at around 11.40am.

Mr Brunt died at the scene.

His family said: “We are utterly devastated at the sudden loss of our wonderful husband and brother.

“Colin was much-loved by his family and popular in his village, talking to many on walks with his two adored golden retrievers.

“Meticulous and passionate in all his hobbies, from fishing and hang-gliding in his youth to vintage motorcycling in later years.

“A wonderful sense of humour, we will cherish every memory of him.”
