Tools have been stolen from a work van parked in a Carlisle street.
The incident happened between 4pm on May 23 and 7am on May 24 on Freer Street.
A work van had been tampered with and tools taken from the rear of the vehicle.
The tools were later found behind a property on Bank Street in the city and been returned to the victim.
Officers are appealing for information about the incident.
