Woman ‘held over Carlisle bridge’ by man while he made threats

Police are investigating after it was reported that a woman was threatened and held over a Carlisle bridge.

The incident happened on May 13 at around noon at St Ninian’s Bridge.

The victim, a woman, wasreported to have been threatened and held over the bridge by a man from Carlisle.

The victim did not suffer any injuries. 

A man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently on bail while enquiries continue.
