CCTV images have been released after scrap metal was stolen from Eden Valley Hospice in Carlisle.

Police are investigating the theft, which happened on Monday, April 10 at 12.30pm.

It was reported that two people entered the hospice car park in a pick-up truck, scouring the outbuildings and other areas, before taking metal intended to be traded in as scrap without permission.

The money made from the scrap metal was to be used towards the refurbishment of a ward at the hospice.

It is thought both suspects are from the North East area.

Police said they would like to speak with the two people pictured as part of the investigation.

Anyone with information relating to this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/report-it, quoting incident number 207 of 13 April 2026 or call 101.

Alternatively contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
