
Armed police helped Carlisle officers catch a vehicle in the city after a pursuit.
Carlisle police said Neighbourhood Policing Team officers were patrolling last night, Friday June 19, looking for suspicious activity relating to drugs and burglary, which were two key priorities raised by people.
Carlisle police said: “A vehicle caught their eye.
“A significant pursuit later and with the assistance of our colleagues from the Firearms Support Group, the vehicle was seized for having no insurance, being in a dangerous condition and failing to stop for police.”
