Sophie and Steph Steele with first and second in Veterans, Miterdale Dusk and Miterdale Honesty.

After Saturday’s International meeting, the HRA resumed on Monday at Wardhall where 57 hounds contested the four races.

The Seniors were first to go with a slip of 12. Going past the field with roughly five minutes racing left Foxparke Beep Beep was leading from Silver Dream and Foxparke Sidekick.

Coming out of the dip before the finish Foxparke Beep Beep had a good lead but ran off to allow Silver Dream and Foxparke Sidekick to catch her up.

Over the final fence Foxparke Beep Beep and Foxparke Sidekick were still in front but as always the double champion and table leader Silver Dream gave one final spurt to claim the win for Darren and Julie McMaster and Anthony Skelton.

Foxparke Beep Beep beat kennelmate Foxparke Sidekick for second in what had been a tight finish.

The Pups also had 12 runners and crossing the final road and heading up the finish Cinderella and Thorn Daisy were neck and neck.

Nicola McMaster and double champion Silver Dream won again at Wardhall

The pair had another good race to the line with Martin and Molly Burrow, Ian Freyne, Ger and Jennifer Kenneally’s Thorn Daisy managing to grab the win from Cinderella with Fable back in third.

The Open Maidens had the largest slip of the night with 23 and going past the field Lucky Lottie was leading from Foxparke Dealer, Foxparke Elliot’s Lad and Foxparke Majesty.

Geoff Higgins and open maidens winner Lucky Lottie.

Onto the finish Lucky Lottie and Foxparke Dealer were neck and neck and had a good race to the line.

In the end it was Geoff and Gillian Higgins’ Lucky Lottie who collected the win over Foxparke Dealer with Foxparke Majesty in third.

The final race of the night was for the Veterans with a slip of 10 and going past the field kennel-mates Miterdale Dusk and Miterdale Honesty were leading from Black Edition.

Joanna Burrow and puppy winner Thorn Daisy.

Onto the finish Miterdale Honesty was leading but ran wide at the jump allowing Miterdale Dusk to come and take the win for Sophie Steele over Miterdale Honesty with  Black Edition in third.
