[F]irefighters have tackled a lorry fire on the A66 at Brough.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 10:47pm on Saturday 6 May firefighters were called to a heavy goods vehicle on fire in a layby on the A66 at Warcop.
“The crews, two firefighters in breathing apparatus, used a main jet, ground monitor and compressed air foam system to put the fire out.”
The westbound carriageway was closed while emergency services dealt with the blaze.
