[H]ospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland invites the community to join us for an Open Garden Evening at Crossrigg House, Cliburn, as part of our 20th Anniversary Celebrations.

This special evening is taking place on Friday 2nd June from 6pm – 8pm, by kind permission of Mrs. Henley. Admission is £10, payable on the door, and includes a glass of wine and canapes.

Cath Coates, Fundraiser for Hospice at Home said “Please bring along your family, friends and colleagues for a delightful evening stroll around this beautiful garden. The charity would like to thank Mrs Henley for kindly welcoming us into her home and gardens for this special anniversary evening and A J & D Chapelhow (Cliburn) Ltd for sponsoring the event. The funds raised will enable our Clinical Team to continue providing vital end of life care in the community.

2017 is a special year for Hospice at Home as we reach our 20th Anniversary. Over 6,000 patients and their families have been cared for during this time and we are proud to provide this vital service in the north and east of Cumbria. Thank you to all supporters who have helped us to reach this significant milestone.

We hope the community can join us on 2nd June for this special fundraising occasion which will help us to support more local patients in the future.
Note to Editors: The Hospice at Home service covers 1500 square miles from the Scottish Border to Stainmore and Allonby to Alston. The charity is vital and needs to raise £20,028 each week to continue to provide this service.

Anyone interested in raising funds or volunteering please contact the Hospice at Home Fundraising Office 01768 210719 or visit www.hospiceathome.co.uk.
