[A] TRIAL is due to take place after a South Cumbria man denied an alleged cannabis supply crime.
Robert Pendleton, 27, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court today (MON).
It is alleged that Pendleton possessed the controlled class B drug cannabis, with intent to supply it, on November 20 last year.
This is said to have occurred at Sandside, near Milnthorpe.
During a brief court hearing, in front of Judge Tony Lancaster, Pendleton pleaded not guilty to the charge.
A case timetable was agreed by the respective lawyers in the case. A trial, lasting one to two days, is due to be held at the crown court in the week of August 21.
In the meantime Pendleton, of Stonebridge Close, The Green, Millom, was granted bail by Judge Lancaster.
