[A] mountain biker has been flown to hospital after falling from his bike near Keswick.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Latrigg at 2:20pm yesterday, Monday 3 July to reports of an injured mountain biker.
The man, aged in his 30s had fallen and sustained injuries to his shoulder, wrist and ribs.
A spokesman for GNAAS said: “We worked alongside North West Ambulance Service and Keswick Mountain Rescue Team in recovering and treating the patient before he was flown to hospital in Carlisle.”
His injuries were described as non life-threatening.
