Brampton man admits child sex abuse image offences

[A] man formerly living at a Brampton address has appeared at North and West Cumbria Magistrates Court charged with three offences that he made indecent photo/pseudo photo of a child and one charge of possession of indecent photo/pseudo photo of a child.

Samuel Gault, 54, gave his address today as Priory Gardens, Corbridge, the offences relate to dates between December 7, 2012 and May 18, 2017.

The categories of the indecent images are categorised as A, the most serious and B and C, the total of indecent images within the charges is 184.

Gault formally of Gelt Rise, Brampton pleaded guilty to all charges and will next appear at Carlisle Crown Court to be sentenced on August 18.

He will be made to sign the sex offenders register in the next few days.
