[W]ill Montgomery has been selected for the squad representing England at the 2017 Men’s Sevens – Under 18 Championship in Germany!

Kendal R.U.F.C. and Newcastle Falcons Academy player Will Montgomery has been selected for the squad representing England at the 2017 Men’s Sevens – Under 18 Championship in Germany this weekend!

Steven Whitehead, Director of Rugby K.R.U.F.C. said: “Working closely with Will since his inclusion in the Senior Squad some 12 months ago, it is clear to both coaching and playing staff that Will is a special talent and a pleasure to be around. From all at K.R.U.F.C. we congratulate and wish Will every success.”

Their first game is Italy v England in Heidelberg on Saturday 9 September at 10.00 local time.

England features in Group D, along with Italy, Spain and Lithuania.

  • 10:00 – ITA v ENG
  • 13:18 – ESP v ENG
  • 16.36 – LTU v ENG

Group A: Ireland, Germany, Luxembourg and Georgia
Group B: France, Romania, Poland and Belgium
Group C: Portugal, Russia, Israel and Wales
