Carlisle United will start the new National League season on August 8 with a home game against Worthing.
Newly promoted Worthing won National League South last season and this will be the first time they have played at this level.
United can look forward to two Cumbrian derby games as Barrow are also now back down in football’s fifth tier following relegation last season.
Traditional derby dates of Boxing Day, New Year’s Day or Easter Monday have been avoided with Barrow staging the first one on November 21 and Carlisle hosting the return on February 6.
The Bluebirds open their campaign with a trip to Hartlepool as three of the five games in August are away from Holker Street.
As for the holiday fixtures Carlisle will visit Gateshead, manager Rob Elliot’s former team, on Boxing Day while Barrow have newly-promoted Fylde as visitors on that seasonal holiday date.
