[P]olice are investigating a public order incident which took place on English Street, Carlisle, outside Open Mind at approximately 9.15pm on Friday 8th September.
A 42-year-old man from the city was subjected to abuse of a racist nature by a woman.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “A 25-year-old woman from Carlisle was arrested at the scene and has been released under investigation.
“Hate crime will not be tolerated in this county and we ask for the public’s help with this investigation.”
