[T]SB branch in Wigton has announced that Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland has been selected as their new charity partner.
Dawn Gray, Bank Manager at TSB said: “Instead of having a centrally chosen charity of the year, Customers and Partners working at TSB choose the cause they want to support. Once chosen, each branch or site is given an initial donation by TSB to kick-start the partnership.
“I am thrilled to welcome Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland as our new Local Charity Partner which is close to our hearts here in Wigton – we can’t wait to get started.”
Cath Coates, a Fundraiser at the Charity recently visited the branch to meet the team and receive a kind donation of £100. Cath said: “We are so grateful to be chosen as the charity partner of TSB in Wigton. Hospice at Home is very fortunate to receive such wonderful support from local businesses and our community and we are very excited to work with the lovely team at TSB. Together we can raise vital funds to keep our service available when needed.”
The Hospice at Home Christmas Cards are on sale at the branch and the team plan to organise various awareness and fundraising activities throughout the year long partnership.
