[P]olice are investigating a report of an unprovoked assault on an elderly man, which occurred on Monday the 18th of December 2017 on Hyde Street/Senhouse Street, Workington between or around 9pm-10pm.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “This attack left an elderly man with injuries and this behaviour will not be tolerated.
“If anyone has seen or heard anything that may assist us with our enquiries please do not hesitate to contact PC 2509 Richardson on 101 Option 2, Extension 42509.”
